Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story: Peter is the proud owner of Average Joe's gym. His luck is running low and White Goodman, owner of gym franchise Globo Gym, wants to get the gym from Peter. Things culminate in a dodge ball competition in which Average Joe's team must win for Peter to keep his beloved gym.

Murder on Monday: Graceful all-megastar production of Agatha Christie's whodunit set in the'30s, with unrecognizable Finney as the master-sleuth Hercule Poirot, and all his suspects on the same railroad train. Vibrant amusement, although severely slow paced. Bergman won Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Cast includes Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Martin Balsam, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Sean Connery, John Gielgud, and Wendy Hiller. (128 minutes,'74)

Bela Logosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla: Mitchell and Petrillo (Martin and Lewis hopefuls) are stranded on a small island, where Lugosi is carrying out odd trials and experiments. Cast includes Bela Lugosi, Duke Mitchell, Sammy Petrillo, Charlita, Muriel Landers, and Ramona the Chimp. (74 minutes,'52)

La Promesse: Harrowing story of a boy being brought up by a dad who ruthlessly capitalizes on, unlawful immigrants as their assumed savior, and master. Trouble starts while the boy, who unconditionally obeys his dad unquestioningly, creates a bond with one of the illegal immigrants. Moving in its understated, we watch a young boy struggle with tough ethical issues. Cast includes Jeremie Renier, Olivier Gourmet, Assita Ouedraogo, and Rasmane Ouedraogo. (93 minutes,'96)

Night of the Blood Monster: Lee is fine as Magistrate Jeffrey's who is a vicious judge presiding over "Bloody Assizes" after the Monmouth Revolt opposing Baron James II. The film itself is monotonous and grisly. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Maria Schell, Leo Genn, Maria Rohm, and Margaret Lee. (84 minutes,'70)
